1. Where did Montessori come from?

Montessori(pronounced MON-tuh-SORE-ee) education was founed in 1907 by Dr. Maria Montessori, the first women in Italy to become a physician. She based her educational methods on scientific observation of children’s learning processes. Guided by her discovery that children teach themselves. Dr. Montessori designed a `prepared environment’ in which children could freely choose from number of development appropriate activities. Now, nearly a century after Maria Montessori’s first Casa dei Bambini (“children’s house’’) in Rome. Montessori education is found on all over the world spanning ages from birth to adolescence.

2. What is the difference between Montessori or Modern International Education & Traditional Education?

Montessori emphasize learning thorough all five senses, not just through listening watching or leading Children in Montessori classes learn at their own, individual pace and according to their own choice of activities from hundreds of possibilities. Learning is an exciting process of discovery, leading to concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning Montessori classes place children in three-year age groups (3-6, 6-9,9-12) and so on), forming communities in which the older children spontaneously share their knowledge with the younger ones, Montessori represents an entirely different approach to education.

3. Can I do Montessori at home with my child?

Yes, you can use Montessori principles of child development at home. Look at your home through your child’s eyes. Children need a sense of belonging and they get it by participating fully in the routines of everyday. We “Help me do it by myself” is the life theme of the pre-schooler. Can you find ways for your child to participate in meal preparation, cleaning, gardening, cleaning for clothes. At the School level many homeschooling and other parents use the Montessori philosophy of following the child’s interest and not interrupting concentration in educating their children.

4. Is Montessori good for children with learning disabilities? What about gifted children ?

Montessori is designed to help all children reach their fullest potential at their own unique pace. You pursuing the post-graduate course, a student should either possess a graduation certificate or undergoing graduation in any field. Your other courses are not compulsion. English medium background is not mandatory, but apart from this a student possess sincerity, honesty, and hard working qualities, to name herself as a good teacher.

14. Why the course duration is little longer ?

The course can be considered rather as a shorter course because the curriculum KMTI is provided originally a 2-years course which is reconstructed to 18 months .

15. Since I would like to secure employment by a certain date, will you allow me to complete the course is 2 months ?

No, rushing you through the course would be mishandling the quality of the program. You are requested to spend a minimum of 9 months to study the course, after that you can qualify for a job in a recognized school and simultaneously you can continue second 9 months course with your earning remuneration.

16. Am I able to teach with just this diploma ?

It depends on where you like. The answer is yes in some areas, and no in others .It could also depend on whether you want to start off educating as a teacher responsible for the classroom, or as a classroom assistant. Private schools are almost always much more flexible with their teacher’s educational requirements but not in govt. schools.

17. Is your diploma recognized nationally ?

Yes, like all Montessori Diplomas, ours is valid nationally & internationally. In fact, our students come from different corners of the state. Like a growing number of Montessori Training centers we are independent. Being independent provide us with the freedom to offer the highest quality program possible, without interference. To officiate ourselves with any of the older, more orthodox organizations that would require to make programs compromise, which we will not consider.
